Privacy notice

Updated 18 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data Kellohalli collects, why, and how long it is kept. From bookings we only collect what handling them requires.

What we collect

When you book a table or Christmas lunch, or send a quote request:

  • name, email and phone number
  • company name and billing details, if you give them
  • booking details: date, time, number of guests, menu choices and requests
  • dietary needs and allergies, if you tell us
  • your marketing consent, if you give it

We need your name and email to handle the booking and reply to you. Everything else is optional.

When you use the website, our servers process technical data such as your IP address, browser details and the pages opened. When you send a form, your IP address is also passed to our booking system to prevent misuse.

How we use your data

  • For invoicing and accounting. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • For our customer register, so that we recognise returning customers and see their earlier bookings. Legal basis: legitimate interest (managing the customer relationship).
  • To deliver the website and keep it secure, for example to prevent misuse of the forms (technical server logs). Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Dietary needs are used only so that the kitchen can prepare suitable food for you. By telling us, you consent to their use for this purpose.
  • For marketing emails, such as news of May Day and Christmas lunches, only if you have ticked the consent box in the form. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to bookings@kellohalli.fi.
  • To improve the website using visitor statistics, only if you accept cookies. Legal basis: consent.

We never sell your data or pass it on to others.

We do not make automated decisions about you or profile you based on your data.

How long we keep it

  • Dietary needs are deleted 30 days after the occasion.
  • Personal data in bookings and quote requests is deleted 24 months after the date of the occasion. Only figures, such as the number of guests, remain for statistics.
  • Customer register data is deleted 24 months after your latest booking.
  • Technical server logs are deleted automatically, at the latest after 30 days.
  • Billing records are kept for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act.

Deletion happens automatically.
